Post comes through the letter box, and its addressed to you.
Good times. (…as long as its not from the bank of course).
Even better times when you realise its a wedding invitation.
I love weddings, haven’t been to one in a long time per say, but HEY. any excuse to dress up right?
I was stuck between three dresses, (no surprise that they were all black mind you.) BUT, i had already chosen my shoes, which were fresh out the box. Yes, I was the girl that carried her shoes to the shop to double check that they matched the dress. I mean, it’s the only way to make sure!
So here were the dress choices
Shop: River Island
I really liked this dress, and i had never bought a mid length dress. I usually go for short dresses to make me seem a bit taller. But I loved the fact that this dress was figure hugging. It fitted lovely, and was very elegant. But I wasn’t too sure if it was for me…
Shop: Great Plains London (http://www.greatplains.co.uk)
Okay, I must’ve been crazy to have bought this dress at this price, but what the hell, I could always return it right? Considering I have never had a mid-length dress, there is no need to think again that I do not own a maxi dress. I loved this dress because it felt so grown up, but sadly the material was really heavy, and it just made me burn up so much!
Shop: River Island
They had this dress in both black and red, but no surprise that I chose the black one eh? The neckline was plunge, which was rather daring even for, and the dress wrapped around my figure, which was a lovely design. But, still, even though this was one of the three dresses I had tried on, I still wasn’t happy.
In an impulse decision, I went for this dress…
Yes, it was the third dress but in a different colour. I figured that, I may not be ready for mid length or maxi dresses (I am 5ft1!!) that, maybe a more daring colour was better. Plus it was for a wedding, and red is the colour for love!
