My First 3 Months

It is inevitable that I’ll be my own worst critic. Sorry, but I am rather disappointed at my pathetic lack of posts since working full time.

Every week, I would tell myself “Norresa this week is the week! You are going to blog!” Then eventually life.. (Eastenders, FeelUnique.com and sleep) get in the way. So I’m left in this endless cycle of convincing myself to write a post, and then – not doing it.

You know it was pretty bad if I had fellow bloggers Jasmine (Soeursdeluxe) and Juanita (Ldngirl) trying to motivate me too!

So in yet again another attempt at making an excuse for my absence, here is a brief post on my first 3 months at work.

One of the biggest things I done so far, has got to be the helping and organisation of the SS16 press event for Eylure and Elegant Touch. We had a ‘Night at the Fair’ theme and basically introduced all the new products across both brands to press and bloggers.

I was both nervous and excited.. nervous that I had to talk about the new collections when I had only been there for a couple of weeks, yet excited that I was lucky enough to be part of it.

I’ve also helped to set up areas for us at London Fashion Week…

I have also attended a demonstrators evening for different beauty awards… here’s me flashing my super cute Fleur De Force lash – Simply Fleur.

But, when I’m not out and about, I’m usually in the office helping out with press mailouts, connecting with bloggers and basically everything else a PR does.

I love connecting with bloggers (mostly beauty bloggers,) but I guess its because I’m a blogger too (barely!) So I’ve become more and more obsessed with blogging, because I see how fab their blogs are.

Below is a mailout I did for Stylist by Elegant Touch… these boxes were then filled with Stylist and sent to the press.

Overall, even though I can’t say much about what I do – not that you would want to know.. but I have really enjoyed myself for the last three months, and I am super excited to see what is next for me here.

I mean, c’mon look at how we celebrated Pancake Day!
